Colours Restaurant and Bar
Conveniently located on the corner of Crown Point, this is one of my watering holes to just chill. Painted in a variety of colours, and owned by Mr. Dolly, who is quite charming and very efficient at meeting and catering to the needs of his patrons. For lunch, one can have one of the tastiest burgers, or if you're a geera pork lover, the geera pork with potato salad is a must. Flying fish cutters, and roti are just a few of the items offered here. For a beastly cold Stag, or Carib, check Colours, never to disappoint for a lime with friends.

Guava, coconut, ginger, salty caramel and even benne ball chocolate, to name a few! The combinations are endless and appealing. Located next to Shore Things Cafe & Craft.

The Shade
A very popular night club on the island, but the secret about this place that many people not aware of, is that on the last Sunday in the month, during the day is Market Day at The Shade. This nightclub transforms into a literal market where the locals display their talents. However, this market is very unique, besides the beautiful arts and crafts, local wines, and tasty food and treats. Here you will find an authentic pig roasting on a open fire the traditional way. Towards the end of Market Day, one can look forward to the sounds of African drumming by Drummers of Tomorrow and indigenous steel pan music.

Y.C's Bar
Just around the bend in Pembroke is Y.C's Bar, just when you're looking for that watering hole
to quench your thirst. This bar is a nice quick stop to recuperate and continue the drive either into Speyside or back to the Western side of the island.

Kariwak Eco Resort
Located on Store Bay Local Road, this enchanted resort will instantaneously create a sense of calm and serenity. One of the best places to have breakfast, where the herbs and spices are locally grown from their own garden and where the birds likes to say hello. On a Friday or Saturday night, you can be entertained by a live Jazz Band.
Ajoupa Huts greet you as you enter the premises, the rustic charm of this place envelopes you, and is sustained by their very warm and friendly staff. Art sculptures and paintings surround you in this charming place which gives this place such a natural and holistic feel.
One can also do Yoga to relax and find that inner peace!

Original House of Pancakes
A very quaint breakfast nook located in Crown Point, behind Colours Bar, is Original House of Pancakes. Try to reach there early for when they open at 8:30am, it is quite a rush. One of my favourite selections is the saltfish omelette with coconut bake. It is a local favourite, and sure to keep you full. For kids, the happy face pancakes is a sure delight!
Castara Retreats
This place, located in Castara, is so heavenly, you will not want to leave. Just for a quiet moment to reflect and be pensive, your senses are transported to another sphere, where they become alive with the sites and sounds. Just below this hillside where they have wooden villas is a lovely beach where one can kayak or stand up paddle. Delicious food and tasty treats, such as the chocolate pudding which is made from the Tobago Cocoa Plantation. The sunset from Castara Retreats is absolutely breath-taking, I will urge anyone that this place is a must go and see!
Time to Wine!

Petit Trou Lagoon
The Mangroove Swamp

Inside by Magdalena in Lowlands, there's a quiet spot where one can still the mind and quiet the senses, the natural beauty shines through and emanates being one with nature. The boardwalk has a few winding paths that leads to different secret locations. There's so much wildlife there, one cannot imagine the many wonders in this spot. It's where I personally go after work to relax and do some line fishing!
Tradition's Bar and Grill
Looking for that spot for great food and drinks, Tradition's Bar and Grill located in Pigeon Point, is sure to get your taste buds going in a frenzy! The atmosphere is very family oriented, where you are greeted by either Ben or Curtis, who are the owners and always willing to assist you with their warm and welcoming personas. Nadia is super helpful and friendly and makes the best drinks, be sure to ask her for her specialty mango chow shot. Believe me, its one of the best shots to try.
